Theme Generator helps you quickly add a different style and apply a theme to a pre-existing design in Uizard using AI!

Using Theme Generator

If you want to apply a consistent style across your design, Theme Generator could be the perfect tool for you!

Generating a theme from a prompt

1) Click on the 'How can I help you' AI assistant at the bottom of the screen:

2) Click on the first drop-down and make sure 'Generate Theme' is selected:

3) Click on 'Prompt':

4) Type in your prompt for the theme you'd like to use, toggle any prompt tags you'd like, or if you're unsure of where to start you can click 'Try example':

5) Once you're done with your prompt, click 'Generate':

6) Once it's generated, you can toggle back and forth between the 'Current' and 'Generated' boxes to see the differences. Click 'Reset' if you'd like to start over or 'Apply' if you want to go with the new theme:

Generating a theme from scratch

1) Click on the 'How can I help you' AI assistant at the bottom of the screen:

2) Click on the first drop-down and make sure 'Generate Theme' is selected:

3) Click on the second drop-down and then click 'Scratch':

4) Click on all of the style choices you'd like included in your project and then click 'Generate':

4) Once it's generated, you can toggle back and forth between the 'Current' and 'Generated' boxes to see the differences. Click 'Reset' if you'd like to start over or 'Apply' if you want to go with the new theme:

Generating a theme from an image

1) Click on the 'How can I help you' AI assistant at the bottom of the screen:

2) Click on the first drop-down and make sure 'Generate Theme' is selected:

3) Click 'Image' in the second drop-down:

4) Drag and drop the image you'd like to use into the blue field or click the link to try an example:

5) Click 'Generate' once you're ready:

6) Once it's generated, you can toggle back and forth between the 'Current' and 'Generated' boxes to see the differences. Click 'Reset' if you'd like to start over or 'Apply' if you want to go with the new theme:

Generating a theme from a URL

1) Click on the 'How can I help you' AI assistant at the bottom of the screen:

2) Click on the first drop-down and make sure 'Generate Theme' is selected:

3) Click on the second drop-down and select 'URL':

4) Type in the URL you'd like your theme to be inspired from and then click 'Fetch':

5) Click 'Generate':

6) Once it's generated, you can toggle back and forth between the 'Current' and 'Generated' boxes to see the differences. Click 'Reset' if you'd like to start over or 'Apply' if you want to go with the new theme:


Reverting a theme

Have you gone with a theme and decided that you don't like it? No worries!

Here is how you can revert a theme immediately after applying it:

1) After creating your theme, you still have the opportunity immediately after generating to click the "undo" arrow:

2) If you find that you're past the point of being able to revert your theme and you really need to recover a previous version of your project, please reach out to support@uizard.io so that we can look at the possibility of recovering your project ๐Ÿ‘


Editing a theme

Currently, editing the theme settings isn't possible.

๏ปฟTo give you more context, recently, we've made some changes that temporarily remove some of the "themes" functionality, including theme editing. These changes are part of a larger project that is broken down into smaller iterations, and the full update has not yet been launched.

In the meantime, we would like to suggest a temporary workaround for customizing your theme. If you want to customize an already generated theme, you'll need to generate a new theme with the chosen settings ๐Ÿ˜Š

There isn't a way to set a theme or brand theme across all projects in your organization at this time; however, we're always looking for ways to improve!
