Different subscription benefits

Uizard has 3 types of subscriptions available: Free, Pro, and Business.

When you create a new organization with Uizard, it is automatically subscribed to a Free subscription, while the Pro or Business are paid subscriptions we offer.

Billing cycle

The available billing cycle depends on the subscription chosen. The Pro subscription can be paid for on a monthly or yearly basis, whilst the Business subscription can only be on a yearly billing cycle:

Pricing

Both paid subscriptions (Pro and Business) offered are charged for every 'Creator seat' added. Pricing is per 'Creator seat'. Find the pricing in the table below:

To understand the pricing logic better, let's examine examples of each possible subscription's pricing option:

John's organization with a monthly Pro subscription has 3 team members with a 'Creator' role assigned.

3 (creator seats) x $19 (monthly price) = $57

Uizard Pro yearly subscription:


John's organization with a yearly Pro subscription has 3 team members with a 'Creator' role assigned.

3 (creator seats) x $12 (monthly price) x 12 (months) = $432

Business yearly subscription:

Upgrading a subscription for an organization

1) Go to 'Organization Settings' and click on 'Billing':

2) Click on 'Upgrade to Pro' or 'Upgrade to Business' according to your needs. If you want to sign up for the monthly version of Pro, please make sure that you toggle off the 'Billed $144 yearly' before clicking 'Upgrade to Pro':

3) Choose the 'Creator seats' (teammates who will edit projects within your organization) number.

If you prefer saving some money and you're planning to use Uizard for the long term - make sure to choose the annual subscription option ๐Ÿš€

4) Enter your credit/debit card details and click 'Subscribe':


Adding an extra creator seat to an organization

That's wonderful that you'd like to add a creator seat!

Please note that creator seats must be on the same billing cycle (monthly or yearly). You cannot have different creator seats on different billing cycle types.

Adding a seat from the Billing page

1) Go to 'Organization Settings' and click on 'Billing':

2) Scroll down to the 'Manage billing' section and click on the 'Manage billing on Stripe' button:

3) Click 'Update plan':

4) Click the '+' button to update the 'Creator seats' or manually type the number of seats in total that you'd like in your organization:


5) After you you've updated the number, click 'Confirm':

*Please note that adding seats to your organization costs additional.

Changing a 'Viewer' to 'Creator' from the Teams page

Changing a seat from a 'Viewer' to a 'Creator' and adding a seat in the Team page is quick and easy, you won't need to go to the Billing page and it will automatically update your seats and subscription for you!

Here's how you can update seats from the Teams page:

1) Click on 'Teams' in the left-hand menu:

2) Find the 'Viewer' that you'd like to change into a 'Creator'. Click the three dots to update the settings, click 'Make creator', and then 'Confirm':

*The Owner of the organization will receive an email update when the pricing of their subscription changes*

Adding a seat from the Share settings of a project

You can easily add seats from the Share settings of your project, so that it doesn't interrupt your workflow!

Here's how you can do this:

1) Click on the 'Share' button within your project in the top right-hand corner:

2) Type in the email that you'd like to add as a creator, make sure 'Creator' is selected, and click 'Invite members':

3) If you're sure you'd like to add them as a creator, click 'Confirm':

4) Or, if you already have a viewer that you'd like to change to a Creator, you can simply change their settings. Click the 'Viewer' drop-down by their name and select 'Make creator':

5) If you're sure you'd like to change them to a Creator, click 'Confirm':


Viewer requesting a creator seat

If you have a viewer within your organization, they can request to become a creator. Once they request, you'll receive a notification where you can approve it.

This is how a viewer can request to become a creator:

1) Click on a project and click the canvas:

2) Click 'Request' to send the owner/admin a request to become a creator:

This is what it will look like from the owner/admin's side:

1) The owner will receive an email as well as a notification within the platform. Click the bell in the upper right-hand corner:

2) Click 'Accept' to add them as a creator:


Adding creator seats in the middle of a billing cycle

There's definitely nothing to worry about, as you can add extra creator seats at any time needed!

The extra creator seats addition works on a 'pro rata' basis, which means that you'll simply need to pay an extra amount of funds needed in order to finish your billing cycle with a new number of creator seats set ๐Ÿš€

โ€‹
John's organization purchased a monthly Pro subscription for 3 creator seats on the 1st of April.
โ€‹
However, a new Product Designer has joined the team, so John added an extra seat on April 15h.
โ€‹
โ€‹The residual value of the total sum paid for the month:
โ€‹
โ€‹3 (creator seats) x $19 (monthly price) / 2 (half of the month has already been used) = $28.5
โ€‹
โ€‹New subscription price with an extra creator seat added (for the rest of the billing cycle):

4 (creator seats) x $19 (monthly price) / 2 (only half of the month left till the end of the billing cycle) = $38
โ€‹
โ€‹Difference to be paid:
โ€‹
โ€‹$38 (price to finish the billing cycle with new creator seat number) - $28.5 (total sum, which has already been paid for the ongoing billing cycle) = $9.5
โ€‹
โ€‹Invoice total: $9.5 (the next invoice for a full sum will be automatically issued on the 1st of May - at the end of the original billing cycle).


Removing a creator seat

To reduce the number of "creator seats" on the checkout page, you will need to remove the users with "creator" roles or simply change their roles to "viewers" first.

Incorrect subscription price

If you are trying to sign up for a subscription for one person and the pricing is showing incorrect on the check-out page, please make sure that the "Quantity" is correct. The Quantity is the number of creator seats ๐Ÿ˜Š

Please bear in mind that we do not have the ability to sign up for multiple months at once. We only have monthly or annual pricing.


Stripe payment not going through

If your payment method isn't working, this could be due to a few different reasons:

  • Insufficient funds: Check to make sure that you have enough in your account.

  • Your bank that issued the card has blocked the payment: Reach out to your bank to see if they can assist you with this.

  • Authentication: There is an additional authentication step from your side that needs to be completed.

Subscription expiration

Please note that our subscriptions auto-renew, so they won't expire. If you're on a monthly plan, it will renew monthly. If you're on an annual plan, it will renew annually.


FAQs

I accidentally signed up for the yearly subscription when I meant to sign up for the monthly. What do I do?

No worries! If you have accidentally signed up for the yearly subscription and meant to sign up for the monthly, simply contact Customer Support so that we can look into this and assist you!

Can I prepay certain months for my subscription?

It's not possible to pre-pay certain months ahead of time. At this time, there is only a monthly or annual option.

Can I pay for my subscription with PayPal, UPI, or other payment methods?

We don't have the option at this time to pay with PayPal, UPI, or payment methods other than major debit and credit cards.

Is there a way to automate my invoices/receipts?

There isn't a way at this time to automate invoices or receipts to your email every month. You would need to manually download them from your account every month.

Is there a way to receive invoices by mail?

Invoices can only be accessed by viewing or downloading them within your account on the platform. We don't have an option to receive invoices by mail.
