About troubleshooting wireframes
Wireframes are used to focus on the functionality of your app or website design rather than the design as a whole.
Sometimes problems come up while using Wiframe Scanner or wireframes in general. We're here to help you get it fixed 🌟
Inaccurate Wireframe Scanner transformation
Most commonly, the wireframe transformation is inaccurate due to not following sketching rules. These guidelines are what the Uizard AI uses to recognize various shapes, texts, and other components.
To make sure your wireframe is transformed as accurately as possible, make sure to follow Uizard wireframe sketching guidelines.
Incorrectly identified components
It might be the case that even after following the sketching guidelines some components still weren't transformed as expected with Wireframe Scanner.
In such cases, we'd recommend adjusting these components (or adding missing components) simply by editing them manually.
Images aren't visible
Have you been adding images to your design and you've only been able to see these boxes?
If you've been trying to find a way to see the images you've been adding instead of these boxes, look no further!
The explanation for this is that you're in wireframe mode, which limits your ability to see the full design 👍
You can turn off the 'Wireframe mode' in two different ways. Here's how you can turn off wireframe mode via the right-hand menu:
1) Click "Mode" on the right-hand menu:
2) Click to toggle between Wireframe Mode and Mockup Mode:
Here's how to turn wireframe mode on and off via the Magic tab:
1) Click 'Magic' on the left-hand menu and choose the 'Wireframe mode' option:
2) Turn off the wireframe mode by using the switch outlined in the screenshot below:
And presto! You should now be able to see images normally now 🙌
Unable to edit styling, font, and colors
If you're unable to change the font of your text, edit styling, or change the color of things, chances are that you're in wireframe mode!
In wireframe mode, design options are limited to focus solely on functionality. Similar to above, you'll simply need to turn off wireframe mode!
