In this guide, we'll briefly review all essential instructions on how to add, resolve and delete comments within your project.

Adding a comment to a project

1) Click on 'Comments' within the top-right menu:

2) Click anywhere on the canvas (where you want to leave the comment):

3) Compile your comment and click 'Post' or if you'd like to cancel it you can click 'Discard':


Responding in a thread

1) Comments are automatically visible as pins within your project. If you're unable to find them, open the 'Comments' menu in the upper right-hand corner or use the keyboard shortcut 'Shift + C':

2) Click the pin on your canvas or thread you'd like to respond in:

3) Compile your comment and click 'Post'


Copying a thread's link

1) Comments are automatically visible as pins within your project. If you're unable to find them, open the 'Comments' menu in the upper right-hand corner or use the keyboard shortcut 'Shift + C':

2) Click on the pin or thread that you'd like to copy the link of:

3) Click on the three dots and then 'Copy link':


Mentioning teammates in comments

Communicating with your team in comments is easy!

Please note that for public projects, you can mention organization members. For private projects, you can only mention creators who have access to the project.

You can mention a creator/teammate by following these simple steps:

1) Click on 'Comments' within the top-right menu or use the keyboard shortcut 'C':

2) Click on the area where you'd like to leave the comment and mention someone:

3) Click on the '@' symbol and select from the users in your organization or type in the email of the user you want to mention:

4) Type in the comment and click 'Post':

*Note that mentioning in comments is disabled in public previews


Resolving comments

1) Comments are automatically visible as pins within your project. If you're unable to find them, open the 'Comments' menu in the upper right-hand corner or use the keyboard shortcut 'Shift + C':

2) Click on the pin on your canvas or thread that you'd like to resolve:

3) Resolve the thread in question by clicking the checkmark button to resolve:


Deleting comments

1) Comments are automatically visible as pins within your project. If you're unable to find them, open the 'Comments' menu in the upper right-hand corner or use the keyboard shortcut 'Shift + C':

2) Click on the comment pin or thread you'd like to delete:

3) Click on the three dots and then 'Delete thread':

4) Confirm the comment's deletion by clicking the 'Delete' button:

Toggling comments

Comment pins are always visible on your canvas for easy access; however, you can hide them by using the shortcut command 'Shift + C'.


Creating sticky notes

Another great way to collaborate with your team or to leave notes for yourself/others within your project is to use sticky notes.

You can leave a note on a screen or beside it on the canvas. Here's how you can do so:

1) Click on 'Template' in the left-hand menu and then search for 'Sticky':

2) Click on 'Sticky' and drag it where you'd like to use it:

3) Double-click the sticky note to change the text or to update the colors or style in the in-line toolbar:
