In this guide, you'll find everything you need to know about the basics of managing your account settings in Uizard. Without further ado, let's dig into 'Account Settings' 🚀


Changing the name on an account

1) Click on your name, which is among the options on the left sidebar. Then, click on 'Account Settings':


2) Type in your name in the 'First name' and/or 'Last name' fields according to your needs and click ‘Save Changes’:


Adding a profile photo

1) Click on your name, which is among the options on the left sidebar. Then, click on 'Account Settings':


2) Click on the ‘Upload’ icon under the 'Profile photo' section and choose an image you'd like to use as your profile photo:

3) Click ‘Save Changes’:


Updating an email address

1) Click on your name, which is among the options on the left sidebar. Then, click on 'Account Settings':


2) In the box labeled ‘Email’ type in the new email in the respective field, then click 'Change email'. Once that's done, you'll be asked to enter your password due to security reasons:

Unable to update an email due to connected accounts

If you followed the steps above and you're unable to update your email due to "Connected Accounts," it will look like this:

You'll need to reach out to us at support@uizard.io so we can disconnect your Google or Microsoft SSO and update your email 👍


Disconnect Google or Microsoft login method

Do you want to log in with an email and password instead of your SSO method?

Currently, there isn't a way to disconnect your connected accounts yourself. You'll need to reach out to support@uizard.io so we can disconnect it for you!


Changing a password

1) Click on your name, which is among the options on the left sidebar. Then, click on 'Account Settings':


2) In the box labeled ‘Password’ type in the new password two times in the respective fields and click ‘Change Password'. Due to security reasons, you'll be asked to enter your old password:

Deleting an account

1) Click on your name, which is among the options on the left sidebar. Then, click on 'Account Settings':


2) In the section labeled ‘Remove Account’, click the ‘Remove Account’ button. Due to security reasons, you will be asked to confirm the account's deletion by typing in your email address and clicking on the 'Delete' button:

Logging out

1) Click on your name, which is among the options on the left sidebar and then the "Log Out" button on this menu or alternatively click on 'Account Settings':

2) You will also find the ‘Log out’ button at the bottom of the 'Account Settings' page:


Changing to Dark Mode

You can turn on the 'Dark mode' theme in your account as instructed below. Click your name in the bottom left-hand corner and then click the toggle for Dark Mode:

FAQs

Can I change my language settings?

At this time, Uizard does not have the option to change language/lang settings.
