About security and privacy

This is a short guide to arm you with the best protection spells and practices to secure your Uizard account and your data ๐Ÿง™๐Ÿ”’

While we always go the extra mile in securing your information at Uizard, to keep your account fully safe it's also recommended to follow some basic security measures which we'll outline below!

Enable whole disk encryption

We strongly recommend using a device that enables whole-disk encryption. The most recent versions of iOS and Android encrypt all data by default. Desktop operating systems have also recently given users the option to encrypt data. We strongly recommend turning this on to secure your data.

Don't share your account credentials

Never share your account's emails and passwords. There are numerous security risks associated with sharing account credentials. Uizard will not be responsible for security breaches that stemmed from sharing passwords and other account-related data.

If you suspect that your account may be compromised, change your password right away! โš ๏ธ

Setting strong passwords

Uizard encourages the best practices in password creation. We highly recommend that you use a strong password with complexity โ€” this means making your password at least 8 characters long, using upper and lower case characters, as well as alphanumeric and special characters.

Using secure WiFi or an encrypted VPN

Never transmit authentication credentials when using public or non-secure wifi. Even though Uizard uses SSL and HTTPS, we strongly recommend the use of secure WiFi and a VPN when utilizing web-based services.
